Henry Haley Rites

   Henry Freeman Haley, 74, of Harrison Community, died Saturday night at Cobb 
Memorial Hospital.
   He was born in Franklin County, a son of the late Henry Freeman and Betty 
Cromer Haley.  He was a farmer.
   Surviving are wife, Mrs. Valley Beard Haley of the home; daughter, Mrs. 
Helen Pace of Athens; sons, Winfred Haley of Lavonia, Junior Haley of Royston, 
Johnny Haley of Brookhaven, Miss., and Fred Haley of Richton, Miss.; sister, 
mrs. Amy James Norwood of Atlanta; brother, Coyle Argo of Royston; 9 
grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church by 
the Revs. Hoyt Dove, Robert Randall and Jerry Stowe.  Burial was in the church 
cemetery.
