Born in Franklin County, he was a son of the late Henry and Mandy Evans Haley. He was a retired farmer and a member of Macedonia Holiness Church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist church by the Revs. Ray Jenkins, William Anglin and Artis Anglin. Burial was in the church cemetery. Surviving are wife, Mrs. mattie Cornelia Hart Haley of the home; sons, Grady, Dock C., thurmon and James Haley of Danielsville, Ludie and Dorsey Haley of Royston, John B. Haley of Brunswick, Leland Haley of Neese; daughters, Mrs. Gladys Scogins and Mrs. Frances Horne of Danielsville, Mrs. Bessie Gearing of Atlanta, Mrs. Willie Blanche Sims of Statham, Mrs. Leola Horne of Houston, Tex.; 65 grand-children; 101 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren.
