M. HAYNES DIES; FUNERAL HELD AT DANIELSVILLE Mr. Richard M. Haynes, lifelong resident of Madison County, died unexpectedly Monday morning at 1:00 o'clock at his hoome in Danielsville following a heart attack. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from Moon's Grove Baptist Church, with the pastor, Rev. Joe Parker officiating. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. R. M. Haynes, Danielsville; three daughters, Mrs. Jack Floyd, Misses Hoyle Haynes and Lucy Haynes, all of Concord, N. C.; two sons, James R. Haynes and Tom Haynes of Danielsville; sisters: Mrs. Gus Tate, Griffin, Ga. and Mrs. C. H. Bullock, Danielsville, and a brother, C. T. Haynes, Detroit Mich. Born in Madison County, Mr. Haynes was one of Danielsville's leading citizens, being a leader in civic affairs. He was apparently in his usual good health all day Sunday and upon retiring Sunday night. Shortly after midnight he suffered a heart attack which proved fatal.
