J.B. HENDRIKS When God in his infinite wisdom called from this world to that celestial City above. Mrs. J.B. Hendriks of Danielsville a beautiful and useful life was ended. Yet we know that God knoweth and doeth all things for the best therefore we say his will and not ours be done. On a new made grave on Oak Grove Cemetery there's a great number of withered flowers showing to the world the love, esteem and affection the many friends and relatives of Mrs. J.B. Hendriks had for her, for to know her was to love her. There is a vacant place in the Old home which never again will be occupied and a voice which was loved by all is hushed and on earth will be heard never again. Yet she is only gone on before to that home of perfect love and happiness where pain death and parting comes no more and where those who know and do his will shall be reunited with her some happy day. For the last five weeks of her lief on earth she suffered severe pain, but bore it all with a fortitude of a most devoted wife and mother and was never heard to utter one word of complaint. It seems so sad to have to give her up Yet our loss is heavens gain and God who wanted a mother flower for his kingdom plucked one of the brightest blossoms earth had to give. Mrs. Hendricks lived to reach an old age being born in Elbert Co. on Nov. 23, 1857 and died June 20th 1922 she was 64 years 6 mo. and 27 days old. She was united with rehoboth Baptist Church when a young girl and has lived a christian life since. Surviving Mrs. Hendricks is her husband Mr. J.B. Hendricks of Danielsville and seven children M.L., C.C., C.G., J.B., J.H., and Miss Pearl Hendricks of Madison Co. and Mrs. Henry Gentry of Elbert Co. Twelve grand children and a host of friends to mourn her death. The grief Stricken friends and relatives have our heartfelt sympathy and we pray Gods richest blessing on them all. One who knew and loved her. File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/ga/madison/obits/h/hendrick3475gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/gafiles/ File size: 2.6 Kb
