Ada Sims Lowe Holliday, 94, of Comer, died Friday, July 14, 2006.

A native of Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Oren and Mary Lee 
Ashley Sims. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Harley Lowe; her 
second husband, Edward Holliday; and a son, Kenneth Lowe. She was a caregiver 
at nursing homes and hospitals, and was a member of Comer Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Faye Kimbel, Athens; daughter-in-law, Jean S. 
Lowe, Winterville; two sisters, Helen Carruth, Watkinsville, and Fannie Mae 
Bazzelle, Macon; a brother, Marvin Sims, Arnoldsville; four grandchildren, 
Mark, Greg, Steve Kimbel and Andy Lowe; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Comer Baptist Church.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens, was in charge of arrangements.
