James E. Hubbard, 86, of Carlton, died Friday, July 21, 2006.

Survivors include his wife, Janie; daughters, Nora Jennings, Merlaine Smith, 
Frances Johnson; sons, Curtis, Larry and Terry Hubbard; 17 grandchildren; and 
17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 26, at New Bethlehem Baptist 
Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Jones Lexington Funeral Home, Lexington, was in charge of arrangements.
