Thelma M. James, 83, Hull, died Monday, June 12, 2006.

A native of Madison County, she was born April 20, 1923, the daughter of the 
late Lacy and Annie Bond Christian. She was the widow of Clarence James. Mrs. 
Whitlock was a member of Bluestone Baptist Church and attended Danielsville 
Baptist Church.

The funeral was held Thursday, June 15, at the Brown Funeral Home chapel with 
the Revs. John Reeser and Mike Hudmon officiating. Burial was in the 
Danielsville Memorial Gardens cemetery.

Survivors include two sons, Hugh James, Danielsville, and Dennis James, Homer; 
three daughters, Mary Sue James, Marie James and Linda James, all of Hull; one 
sister, Kathleen Castor, North Carolina; four grandchildren and six great-
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Allan James, Darrell Blair, Matt Carter, Brian Fitzpatrick 
and Bobby Rich. 

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
