MRS. J. E. JOHNSON DIES, FUNERAL SUNDAY

   Mrs. Allie Sue Rowe Johnson, well known citizen of Comer, died  Wednesday 
afternoon, September 19th, at an Athens Hospital, following a long illness.
   Surviving are three sons: Mr. Will Ed Johnson, of Comer; Mrs. Phil Johnson, 
U. S. Army, in Germany; and Mrs. Charlie Johnson, with the Navy in the Pacific 
area.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at three o'clock from 
Comer Baptist Church of which she was a faithful member.  Rev. S. S. Williams, 
of Porterdale, close friend of the family will conduct the services.
   The sympathy of many friends is exended the bereaved.
