A good man has gone. He was never heard to speak ill of any one, which was a good trait that we all would do well to follow. He was a member at Vinyard Church and was buried there. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. P.O. Davis after which the Masons took charge of the burial service. He loved the Order of Masonary. He leaves a wife, two sons and three daughters and other relatives. He was eighty-five years of age, his wife who survives him is eighty-six years old. Gone but not forgotten.
