MRS. J. E. JOHNSON DIES, FUNERAL SUNDAY

   Mrs. Allie Sue Rowe Johnson, well known citizen of Comer, died  Wednesday 
afternoon, September 19th, at an Athens Hospital, following a long illness.
   Surviving are three sons: Mr. Will Ed Johnson, of Comer; Mr. Phil Johnson, 
U. S. Army, in Germany; and Mr. Charlie Johnson, with the Navy in the Pacific 
area.
   Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at three o'clock from 
Comer 
Baptist Church of which she was a faithful member.  Rev. S. S. Williams, of 
Porterdale, 
close friend of the family will conduct the services.
   The sympathy of many friends is exended the bereaved.
   Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at four 
o'clock at Meadow Church by Rev. William Crowe, and interment 
was in the Meadow Cemetery.
   Surviving are three daughters., Miss N---lia Johnson, Mrs. Dupree 
Cox of Comer, and Mrs. J. C. Daniel of Danielsville, Ga.
