Mr. Kidd was killed instantly and Mr. Coile was rushed to an Athens hosital where he lingered for several hours, dying Sunday night about 9:30 o'clock. Mr. R. W. Davis, of Hoschton, who was in the automobile that colided with the car driven by Mr. Kidd was not seriously hurt. He and Mr. Ed Reynolds, another occupant of the car were given emergency treatment at an Athens hospital. Six persons occupied the car in which Messers Coile and Kidd were riding. Funeral services for Mr. Coile were conducted from Cedar Grove Baptist Church Tuesday at 11 o'clock. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Coile, two brothers: J. B. and S. W. Coile, of Comer. Funeral services for Mr. Kidd were conducted at three o'clock on Monday by Rev. S. s. Williams from Vineyards Creek Baptist church. Mr. Kidd is survived by his wife, three daughters and three sons; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Kidd, a brother Joe Kidd' four sisters, Mrs. Addie Coker, Mrs. Eva Roberts, Mrs. Eula Jenkins and Mrs. Delila Reynolds.
