Eddie Louis Kimbel, of Colbert, died Thursday, July 20, 2006.

A native of Louisville, Ky., he was the son of the late Kerris and Martha 
Shaheen Kimbel. He attended Hull Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman and 
loved the outdoors.

Survivors include three children, Mark Kimbel, Greg Kimbel, both of Colbert, 
and Steven Michael Kimbel, Arnoldsville; four grandchildren, Kayla Marie 
Kimbel, Joshua Aaron Kimbel, Justin Taylor Kimbel and Kriz Lane Kimbel.

Graveside services were held Saturday, July 22, at Evergreen Memorial Park 
with the Rev. Rodney Owens officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
