Loyd, Cord Mill, who died at his home Friday after an illness of several weeks. Mr. Loyd was 76. The Rev. Charles Nash will officiate at the services and nephews will serve as pallbearers. Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Loyd was a native of White County, Ga., but he had lived in Athens for the past 28 years. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Loyd; three daughters, Mrs. W. R. Hale, Mrs. Harold Cofer, and Miss Bonnie Loyd, all of Athens; two sons, Felix M. Loyd and Coleman W. Loyd, both of Athens; three sisters, Miss Sallie Loyd, Miss Nora Loyd, and Mrs. Florene Freeman, all of Jefferson; six grandchildren, and one great grandson.
