Harry Lee Landers Rites Held

   Harry Lee Landers, 58, of Athens, Georgia, died Saturday, January 14, at 4 
a.m., in a local hospital after failing health for the past several months.
   Mr. Landers, a native of Madison county, was the son of the late Mr. David 
Fred Landers.  He retired in 1971 beacuse of ill health.
   Funeral services were held at Bridges Funeral Home chapel on Sunday, January 
15, at 2 p.m. with Rev. James Brock, officiating, assisted by Rev. John 
Manous.  Interment was in Meadow Baptist church Cemetery with Bridges Funeral 
home in charge of arrangements.
   Pall-bearers were: Donald Carnes, Joe Nelms, Mike Landers, Bobby Sorrow, 
Carter Landers, Todd Landers.
   Survivors include; daughter, Mrs. Randy (Shirley) Gabriel, Winterille, Ga.; 
son, David L. Landaers, Colbert, Ga.; 2 sisters, Mrs. T. L. (Frances) Sorrow, 
Hull, Ga., and Mrs. R. B. Kiem, Tampa Fla; 3 brothers, David Ray Landers and 
Fred Landers, both of Watkinsville, Ga. and Henry Hal Landers, Athens, Ga.; 4 
granddaughters; a number of nieces and nephews.
