B. W. Hancock, Methodist Minister, officiating. Interment was at Fort Lamar, Bernstein Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Langford was 82 years of age; he had been in declining health for the past year. Although born in Morgan County, Mr. Langford had been a resident for sixty years of Madison County, where he had identified himself with the leading business and civic enterprises of his section. He had many friends who are deeply grieved at his death. Pall bearers were Messers Paul White, Dan Henley, H. E. Beatenbough, C. N. Dean, C. M. McWhorter and Clyde Carson. an honorary escort was composed of Messers N. C. Bullock, R. c. Griffeth, J. N. B. Thompson, J. T. Murray, Lewellyn Thompson, T. L. Henley, Woots Vaughn, Geo. W. Whitehead, C. B. Ayers, G. E. McWhorter, L. E. Green and Goss Thomas. Surviving Mr. Langford are his wife, Mrs. Lucy Langford; a son, R. O. Langford; three brothers, W. H., A. C. and S. J. Langford; five granchildren, C. H. Langford, George R. Langford, Curtis Doster, Mrs. Louise Doster and Miss Virginia Langford.
