Lt. Bobby Lowe Reported Killed In Plane Crash

   On last Monday night Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Lowe and Mrs. Bobby Lowe were 
notified by the War Department that Lt. Bobby Lowe, of the Army Air Forces, 
was killed in a lane crash on October 2, over Chengtu, china.  This 
announcement causes widespread sorrow thru out our town and 
community.  “Bobby” as he was known and beloved, was born and reared in Comer, 
the only child of Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Lowe.  He was one of our very finest 
boys.  He graduated from Comer High School and from University of Georgia.  
With fine patriotism he responded to the call of his country and had trained 
as Pilot, flying B29 when he went overseas.

   The deepest sympathy of everyone is extended the bereaved parents and wife.
