Clifton Fite and the Rev. Eugene Pettyjohn officiating and interment in Meadow Baptist Church Cemetery. Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Meadow died Monday, June 24 at 4:10 a.m. at his home in Comer, Ga after an illness of six months. He was a native of Madison County, and made his home in Comer. Pall-bearers will be William Brown, Joe Hendrick, Elmer McConnell, Croft Brown, George Edwards and Leonard Palmer. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maude Smith Meadow; five daughters, Mrs. Walt Cook, Forest Park, Mrs. Ray Morris, Comer, Mrs. Ralph Crumley, Mrs. Doyle Dean and Mrs. John Crumley, all of Colbert; one son, Grover Meadow, Comer; a sister, Mrs. Hope Carithers, High Point, N.C.; two brothers, Carl Meadow, Danielsville, and Claude Meadow, Cordele; 10 grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews. The remains wil be at the residence in Comer from 6 o'clock this afternoon until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and then will lie in state at the church for one hours prior to the service. Mr. Griff Meadow was the son of the late William T. Meadow and Lucy Hampton Meadow.
