Miss Lizzie Meadow Dead

   On last Sunday evening death called Miss Lizzie Meadow, a highly 
respected and much loved character.  She was the daughter of David B.
and Mary Ann Meadow.
   She was born and reared at the old Meadow home place, having lived
a very industrious and economical life.
   She was loved by all who knew her.  Always having a sympathetic word
and possessing that genial disposition, which in a measure, always contributes
so largely towards making the pathway with whom we come in contact
smoother, brighter and more cheerful.
   She did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, though never 
connecting
herself with the church.
   She was laid to rest at old Lystra church on Monday afternoon, the funeral 
services being conducted by the lay pastor, Rev. Adams of Monroe.
   She is survived by two brothers, J.J. and D.P. Meadow and one sister, 
Calliel Meadow all of this place, a number of nieces and nephews and a large
circle of friends who mourn their great loss.
