Meadow, who had been sick since last February, died at his home near here and was buried at Lystra church Thursday at noon, Rev. J.A. Shank conducting the funeral services. He had long been a sufferer, and when the death summons came he met it peacefully and for several day before his death seemed to know that his days could be but few more. He was a good citizen and had not an emeny on earth that we ever heard of. His deth removes from our midst an honorable citizen, a faithful friend, a good neighbor, a careful adviser and a loving husband and father. We all feel keenly his death. He leaves a widow and six children and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his death, and may the Giver of all good watch over and care for them till they, too, shall be called to meet the husband and father, who has gone on ahead of them.
