Curtis Maddox Rites

   Curtis Maddox, 73, of Rt. 1, Hull, died Monday, Nov. 13, in the Hart County 
Hospital after an extended illness.  He was a retired farmer and a member of 
the Commerce Church of God.
   He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Millie Lowe Maddox; one son, Joe C. Maddox 
of Danielsville; four daughters, Mrs. Boyce S. Chapman, Sr. of Sandy Springs, 
S.C., Miss Kathleen Maddox of Hull, Mrs. Hoyt Silvey, Jr. of Anderson, S. C., 
and Mrs. J. C. Bennett of Commerce, one brother, John Maddox of Commerce; two 
sisters, Mrs.  S. C. Myers of Royston and Mrs. ___ ___ of ____,  ___ 
grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held Wednesday of last week at 3 p.m. from the Liberty 
United Methodist Church.  The Revs. Edwin Cook and G. M. Chitwood officiated.  
Burial was in the church cemetery.
