Charlie A. Meadow, 77, of Colbert died Sunday at a local hospital after a 
three week illness.  A life-long resident of Madison County, he was a retired 
farmer and a memer of Woodman of the World.

The funeral was to be at 3:30 p.m. today at the Colbert United Methodist 
Church.  The Rev. Albert F. Turnell and Phillip bonner were to officiate.  
Burial will be in the family cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ardell Meadow; three daughters, Mrs. Jack 
Fendley of Danielsville, Mrs. Henry Wood of comer and Mrs. Donald Parham of 
Colbert; two sons, Bill Meadow and Harold Meadow, both of colbert; a sister, 
Mrs. T. G. Eberhart of Colbert; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. W. A. Meadow of 
Colbert; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

McDorman Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
