He had been sick only a few days with typhoid fever, and his death was a severe shock to family and friends. Claud was a noble-hearted, unselfish, generous generous- spirited boy, and gave bright promise of future usefulness. He was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Meadow, and was about 19 years old. May the God of love and mercy pour the consolation of His grace into the bleeding hearts of parents, sisters, relatives, and friends, and help them to say, "Thy will be done." Additional Comments: Transcriber's note: Claud is buried in Danielville Old Cemetery as Berry Claud. He was the sole surviving son of Isaac Jonoes and Mary Daniel Meadow who are buried in the same plot which is at the front (center) of the cemetery. DOD estimated from date of paper and text of article.
