Madison County Journal, 3 Agu 2005
Sally Sue Mills, 94, of Carlton, died Sunday, July 31, 2005, at Athens 
Regional Medical Center.

Born in Madison County, she was the daughter of the late William and Eula Nix. 
She retired after 50 years of service with Elberton Manufacturing Company. She 
loved gardening and sewing.

Survivors include a daughter, Betty Jean Webb Thomas, Crawford; and a sister, 
Eula Kathryn Holcomb, Hull; grandchildren, Michael Lee Thomas, Germany, and 
James Kirk Thomas, Carlton.

Graveside services were held Wednesday, August 3, in Evergreen Memorial Park 
with the Rev. Tom Arnold officiating. 

Lord & Stephens, Crawford, was in charge of arrangements.
