James Otis Moon Dies of Mastoid

James Otis Moon, aged 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Moon of Mill Shoal community 
Madison County, died at a local hospital Monday, December 31 following a four 
weeks illness of mastoid trouble.

Funeral services were held from Mill Shoal Baptist church Tuesday with Rev. J.C. 
Dyar officiating, assisted by Rev. Harmon Drake; Interment was in Mill Shoal 
cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, three sisters, Mrs. Clote Vickery of Hartwell; Mrs. 
George Baker of Anderson; Miss Myrtie King Moon of Royston; three brothers, 
Quinton Moon of Hartwell; J.D. Moon U.S. Army and W.C. Moon of Royston; His is 
also survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Moon.

Royston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
