Mary Cannon Moore, 80, of Colbert, died Tuesday, August 8, 2006.

She was born on April 2, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Luke and Lydia 
Douberly Cannon. She was retired from Hull Sanford Elementary. She was a 
loving mother and grandmother, according to loved ones.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, O.E. “Buddy” Moore; sons, Ervin and 
Marion Moore; daughters, Diane Slaton and Jane McCurley; 10 grandchildren; and 
15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday, August 11, in the chapel of Brown Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Jonathan Tolbert and Dennis Kesler officiating. Burial was 
in Danielsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were grandsons.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements
