James Robert Myers, 61, of Danielsville, died Thursday, October 28, 2004, at 
Emory University Hospital, Atlanta.

Born in Jackson County September 5, 1943, he was the son of the late J.B. and 
Elizabeth Tate Myers. He was a veteran, having served in the United States 
Navy. 

Mr. Myers was the retired owner of a convenience store and a member of the New 
Hope Congregational Holi-ness Church. He was preceded in death by a sister, 
Peggy Bryant.

Survivors include his wife, Maxine David Myers; two daughters and sons-in-law, 
Robyn and Jeff Lenhart, Orlando, Fla., and Pam and Doug Kesler, Danielsville; 
son and fiancé, Rodney Myers, Royston, and April Fowler; sister, Pat Varner, 
Commerce; three grandchildren; two adopted grandchildren; and two step-
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, October 30, at New Hope Congregational 
Holi-ness Church with the Revs. Dennis Kesler and Brian David officiating. 
Burial was in the church cemetery.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, was in charge of arrangements.
