Nash Rites Bulah C. Nash of Rt. 2, Comer, died Monday afternoon of last week in an Athens hospital after a brief illness. He was a native of Elbert County, a sign of the late William David and Catherine Maxwell Nash. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church and a retired farmer. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Evie Bell Nash of Comer, three daughters, Mrs. Mae Knight of Savannah, Mrs. Sarah David of West Seneca N.U., Mrs. Thelma Scogin of Colbert; two sons, Roy Joe Nash of Baltimore, Md., Melvin Nash of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Lula Smith of Tucker; a brother, Reuben C. Nash of Tucker; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Comer Baptist Church by the Revs. Rex Long and Rance Welborn. Burial was in the Colbert Cemetery. Grandsons and nephews served as pallbearers.
