LOU HALL NORRIS DIES; FUNERAL AT COLBERT SUNDAY Mrs. Lou Hall Norris, widow of the late John Wakefield Norris, died Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. A. Sims of Comer. Mrs. Norris was 88 years of age and had been sick for several months. She had recently returned to Comer after spending some time in Chattanooga, Tennessee with her son, Mr. E. W. Norris and family. Mrs. Norris was a native of South Carolina, but had spent most of her life in Georgia, where she was loved by all who knew her. She _______ most useful ___ touching all kindly as she exerted an influence for good. She was a member of Colbert Baptist Church. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. C. F. Tidwell at the gravesite in Colbert Sunday afternoon and a chorus from Comer rendered theh musical selections. Her grandsons served as pallbearers. Mrs. Norris was theh mother of seven children, four of whom survive. The surviving are: Mr. J. E. Norris, of Abbeville, S. C.; Mr. A. R. Norris, of Atlanta; Mr. J. W. Norris, of Chattanooga, Tnen. and Mrs. J. A. Sims of Comer. Those preceding her to the grave were: Mrs. F. E. Marrett, ofAtlanta; Mrs. Harley Smith of Highlands, N. C. and Mr. John Norris of Shreveport, Louisana. Surviving Mrs. Norris also, is a sister in law, Mrs. Jesse Phelps of Dewey Rose, and twenty-two grandchildren. Eleven grandsons saw active service during the war.
