Jerry Charles Owensby Rites

Galena Park, Texas --- E.T.N.2 Jerry Charles Owensby, 25, of the United States 
Navy, and 2203 Seventh Street, Galena Park, passed away Sunday, March 14, in 
California.  He was a 1968 graduate of the Galena Park High School.
   Survivors:  parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Fults and the late Joe Fred 
Owensby of Galena Park; sisters, Mrs. Deborah Blasingame, El Paso, Texas, Mrs. 
Nelda Hill, Louisiana; brother, Robert W. Fults Jr., Galena Park; grandparents, 
Mrs. Mary A. Burce, Mrs. Lillie B. Owensby, both of Georgia, Mfr. M. B. Fults, 
Galena Park; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
   Services were held Thursday, March 18, at First Baptist Church, Galena Park, 
with the Rev. Ladon Cox officiating.  Burial was in the Houston National 
Cemetery, Houston, Texas.  Pallbearers and military honors at the graveside by 
the U.S. navy, Howard-Glendale Funeral Directors.
