OTIS PORTERFIELD 

DANIELSVILLE - Otis L. Porterfield, 84, of Route 1, the Bluestone community, 
died Tuesday, Dec. 29. 

Mr. Porterfield, a native of Franklin County, was a son of the late Oscar and 
Edna Phillips Porterfield and the widower of Ruby Benton Porterfield.  He was a 
retired farmer, the oldest member of Bluestone Baptist Church, and a member of 
the Broad River Beagle Club. 

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, at Bluestone Baptist Church. The 
Rev. Ray Jenkins will officiate and burial will be in the Danielsville City 
Cemetery.

Survivors include two sisters, Edna Lee Mann Royston, and Corene Holloway, 
Danielsville; and eight nieces and nephews. 

The family is at the home of Edna Lee Mann, 363 N. Floyd St., Royston and will 
received friends from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Pruitte Funeral Home.
