Election Fight at Comer Results Fatally to Both Combats

Comer, Ga., Nov. 7th – 

Ex-State Senator Pope Gholson and Kinch Strickland, two very prominent 
citizens, who fought at the election yesterday, here, both died this morning.

Strickland disemboweled Gholson and Gholson then cut off both of Strickland’s 
ears.
