A native of Hart County, he was a son of the late Dock and Lois Dunn Page. He was a member of the Vineyards Creek Baptist church. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Vineyards Creek Baptist Church with Revs. Calvin Coile and Dalton Carrington officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery with Pruitte Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Surviving are: daughter, Mrs. Alice Griffith of Lexington; three sons, Frank E. Page and J. H. Page, both of Kannapolis, N.C., and James G. Page of Comer; two half-brothers, H. V. Booth of Vanna and Bernice McCurley of Royston; a sister, Mrs. Amy McCullough of Lavonia; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great- grandchildren.
