COMER--Leonard Palmer, 61, 300 Main St., Died Thursday, Jul 26.

A native of Forsyth County, he was a son of the late George and Annie Wade 
Palmer.  Mr. Palmer was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Comer 
United Methodist Church.  He was a mechanic for the Vend Co. in Athens.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Chapel of Brown's Funeral 
Home in Danielsville with the Revs. Dan Fuller and Albert Askew officiating.  
Burial will be in the Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Juanita Hawkes Palmer, Comer; three brothers, 
Edwin Palmer, Forest Park, Ernest Palmer, Colbert and Wilford "Bill" Palmer, 
Comer; and four sisters, Edith Watson, Athens, Paulene Seay, Danielsville, 
and Dot Morris and Flora Brown, Colbert.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Brown's Funeral 
Homes.

Note:  Error in cemetery.  Interment was in Pleasant Grove Baptist Church 
Cemetery, Hull, Ga.
