Mrs. Annie Palmer

  Funeral services for Mrs. Annie W. Palmer, 72, of Colbert who died Wednesday 
in a local hospital, were to have been conducted at 3 p.m. today at the Moons 
Grove Baptist Church by the Revs. Dan Fuller and J. C. Glenn.  Burial will be 
in the church cemetery.

  Mrs. Palmer was born in Banks county but had lived in Madison County the 
past six years.  She was a member of the Moons Grove Baptist Church.

  Survivors include her husband, George A. Palmer, Colbert; four daughters, 
Mrs. Cartie Watson, Athens, Mrs. Roy Seay, Hull, Mrs. Hobson Morris, Colbert, 
and Mrs. Buford Brown, Colbert; six sons, J. O. Palmer, Cartersville, Paul 
Palmer, Atlanta, Leonard Palmer, Comer, Edwin Palmer, Marietta, Ernest Palmer, 
Colbert and W. E. Palmer, Comer; one brother, James Wade, Commerce; five 
sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Barnette, Athens, Mrs. E. W. Seay, Athens, Misss 
Potina Wade, Commerce, Mrs. Onie Childers, Colbert, and Mrs. George Yeargins, 
Elberton; 26 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

  Mrs. Palmer's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

  The body will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the service.

  McDorman Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.
