Mr. D. Marion Patterson died at his home near here on last Monday and was 
interred at Vineyard's Creek Wednesday.  He had been sick only a short while 
with pneumonia, the attact being so severe he could not overcome it.  He 
leaves a widow, who is very sick, besides several children.  He was a member 
of the Baptist Church and was active in song worship, being one of the leading 
members of the Madison County choir.
