JASPER B. PHILLIPS TAKEN BY DEATH. FUNERAL HELD THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 12. Funeral services for Jasper B. Phillips, age 18, of Jones Chapel Community were held Thursday, Sept. 12, 1946, at 3:00 P. M., at the Penile Holiness Church with burial in the Church Cemetery and Rev. Sampson Hart officiating. Cunningham Pruette had charge of funeral arrangements. Mr. Phillips died in an Athens Hospital after an illness of three weeks. He was single and a native of Franklin County, Georgia. In addition to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wiley F. Phillips, Sr., he is survived by four sisters; Mrs. Jesse Daniels, Toccoa, Ga.; Miss Gertie Mae Phillips, Miss Bobbie Jean Phillips and Miss Geneva Phillips, all of Danielsville; Route 3; five brothers, Steward F. Phillips, Danielsville; J. O. Phillips, Kannapolis, N. C.; W. T. Phillips, Wiley Phillips, Jr., and Limmie Phillips of Danielsville.
