Pickle, 86, of Danielsville, died Monday, August 7, 2006, at her residence. Born in French Camp, Miss., she was the daughter of the late James P. and Bell Cummings Hodge. She was Baptist. Mrs. Pickle was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers. Survivors include her husband, O. Wendell Pickle; daughter and son-in-law, Pat and John Carithers, Neese Community; grandson and wife, Eric and Carle Adams Carithers, Sylacauga, Ala.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Eugene and Claudia Clark, Gillsville; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services were held Tuesday, August 8, with the Rev. Martha Courie officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice. Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
