Officiating will be Rev. T. P. Osborne and Rev. Virgil Edwards. Interment will followo in Danielsville Cemetery, Meeks Harris, Dolphs Manley, Paul Thaxton, Howard Conn, N. B. Carnes and Ed Aaron serving as pall-bearers. Widow of L. C. Porterfield, Mrs. Porterfield is survived by seven daughers, Mrs. Reese Carnes, Mrs. Roy Towns, Mrs. Dock Watkins, Mrs. Henry Aaron and Mrs. Jim Bone, all of Athens, Mrs. Gordon Melton, Hull, and Mrs. Al Rosa, Portland, Oregon; son, K. W. Porterfield, Athens, twenty eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A native of Walton County, Mrs. Porterfield had been a resident of Athens most of her life.
