MRS. C. W. POWER PASSES
FUNERAL TO BE AT COMER BAPTIST CHURCH

   Mrs. Margaret Power, former resident of Comer, died at her home in 
Washington, D. C. Tuesday at six p.m.  Mrs. Power was 85 years old 
and was ill for several months.
   Services are to be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from 
Comer Baptist Church with burial in Comer cemetery.
   Mrs. Power, widow of the late Charles W. Power, is survived by three
 daughters, Mrs. Frances Atkinson, Mrs. Jessie Mae Pershing and Mrs. 
Edna P. Coster, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
   A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Power was a resident of Comer 
until a few years ago, when she moved to Washington.  She was a loyal 
and devoted member of the Baptist Church.  She has many friends throughout 
this section who keenly feel the loss of a consecrated Christian and friend.
