SERVICES HELD LAST TUESDAY FOR MRS. E. B. ROGERS

   Services fro Mrs. Elizabeth Barrett Rogers, who died Sunday at her home in 
Marianna, Florida, after a brief illness, were conducted last Tuesday afternoon 
at 3:30 from the Providence Baptist church.  Rev. Leo Burgess, pastor of the 
Providence Baptist Church officiated.  Interment was in the Providence cemetery 
with Bernstein funeral home in charge of arrangements.
   Mrs. Rogers, who is the wife of Mr. J. M. Rogers, born in Madison County.  
She has made her home in Marianna, Florida, for the last eleven years.
   She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Miss Mildred and Miss 
Betty Rogers, of Marianna, Fla., two sons, Ed Rogers and Billy Rogers, of 
Marianna; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. B. Barrett, Sr., of Madison County; four 
sisters, Miss LerlineBarrett, Haines City, Fla., Miss Inez Barrett, Madison 
County, Mrs. T. A. Freeman, Madison county and Mrs. Phillip Lowry, Rocky Face, 
Georgia; three brothers, E. B. Barrett, Jr., Tallulah Falls, Ga., G. Barrett, 
Atlanta, and B. H. Barrett, Toccoa, Georgia.
   Mrs. Rogers has a wide circle of friends here who remember her during her 
early life.
