In Memory of Little Roy Allen Rowe

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rowe, Born March 13, 1933; died March 1st, 1934.

A precious little bud has been added to the Heavenly Home. Allen was an unusually 
bright child, not a year old, and was walking and talking; always smiling. We 
wonder why God plucks the sweetest flower in the home, but we must remember He 
makes no mistakes, and we must be submissive to His will, although it's so hard to 
give him up and say: "Thy Will Be Done." No one but a mother knows how a child's 
life is knit to hers. The Heartaches she suffers when it is taken from her; no one 
misses it like a mother, for its little Life has always been linked to hers. Weep 
not, mother, father, and sisters; Allen is not dead, but only sleeping in the arms 
of Jesus, and some day you will understand why he was taken from you; He is only 
transplanted in another world to bloom again. His going away just makes Heaven a 
little brighter and nearer. And may you not think of little Allen as forever from 
you, but remember that--

Not a flower the Master gathers,
Ever closes or withers away,
But sweeter still and fairer grows,
To bloom in His glad day.
