Funeral of Mrs. Ben Smith To Be Held Saturday at Comer Baptist Church

     Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Simmons Smith, widow of the late
Mr. Ben Smith, will be held Saturday Morning at eleven o'clock at Comer
Baptist Church, conducted by the Pastor, Rev. Joe V. Cook.
   Mrs. Smith died early Thursday morning at a Waycross Hospital following
a short illness.  She had gone to Kingsland, GA to spend the winter with her
daughter, Mrs. Waldo Smith where she suffered a storke of paralysis from which
she never reagined consciousness.  She was 63 years of age.  A devoted mother,
a consecrated member of the Baptist Church which she served loyally, Mrs. Smith
was truly a good woman.
   She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Waldo Smith of Kingsland, Ga.; one son,
Robert Earl Smith of Kannapolis, N.C.; two brothers N.J. Simmons, Chattanooga,
Tenn. and F.N. Simmons, LaFayette, GA.
