     MRS. SMITH DEAD

  Mrs. Nancy Smith, wife of our friend C M Smith, of near Paoli, died on
last Monday of dropsy.  Mrs. Smith was a good christian mother, a faithful,
devoted wife and will be sadly missed by her family and community.
  Her remains were interred at Vineyard's creed, in a plain pine coffin, 
which was her repeated request.
  We extend our sumpathy to the bereaved husband and children.
