W. S. SANDERS Funeral services for Mr. W. S. Sanders were conducted from the Danielsville Methodist Church last Thursday with Dr. Harvey C. Holland, Pastor of First Methodist church of Athens officiating. Burial was in Danielsville cemetery. Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bert Watson Sanders; a daughter, Mrs. Jack W. Reynolds, Sr. of Nashville, Tenn; three sisters: Mrs. Otie S. Sasser, Plant City, Fla., Mrs. Frank Sibley, Griffin; and Mrs. B. F. Parsons, Zephyl Hills, Fla.; two brothers: Carl Sanders of Plant City, Fla. and Marvin Sanders of Wilmington, N. C. Born in Danielsville 78 years ago, Mrs. Sanders had lived in Madison County all his life where he was a prominent figure in educational and religious circles. He was a member of the first class to graduate from Young Harris College in North Georgia and later studied in Lincoln Nebraska. For many years he taught school in Comer, Danielsville and other towns in Madison County. He was prominent in farming circles and loved the beautiful in all crops fruits and flowers. Mr. Sanders was a member of the Danielsville Methodist church and a regular attendant as long as his health would permit.
