REV. WILLIE SAYE DEAD

Rev. Willie Saye, a well known Baptist minister, died last Friday 
July 31 at his home in Athens.  He was 51 year old and was sick 
only a few days.   He was very popular and beloved in this 
county where he has served quite a number of churches during his 
years in the ministry, and at the time of his death he was conducting 
a revival in this county.

He was a good man and a faithful servant, always serving his 
master and busy in his field of labor.

He is survived by his wife, one daughter, three sons and a host of 
relatives and friends. Interment was in Oconee cemetery on last 
Sunday.
