Clarence Lee Shelton, 72, of Danielsville, died Sunday, October 31, 2004.

A native of Clarke County, he was the son of the late Willie and Inez Shelton. 
He was retired from the Athens- Clarke County Water Department and was a 
veteran, having served in the Korean conflict.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Jean Walls Shelton; two sons, Mike Shelton, 
Statham, and Edward Shelton, Danielsville; two sisters, Connie Bryant, Gray, 
and Lisa Zilaro, Lakeside, Conn.; three brothers, Billy Shelton, Oakville, 
Conn., Henry Shelton, Florida, and Lloyd Shelton, Waterberry, Conn.; and five 
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, November 3, in the chapel of Brown 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Burial was in the Colbert 
Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Shelton, Justin Elder, Dennis Fry, Darrell 
Nunnally, Dillard Nunnally and David Cootz.

Brown Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
