Gary H. “Pete” Sisk, 72, of Danielsville, died Friday, August 4, 2006.

A native of Oglethorpe County, he was the son of the late Tom and Coequilla 
Clark Sisk. He was retired from ConAgra of Athens after 33 years and continued 
working after retirement as a poultry farmer. He was a member of Moon’s Grove 
Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed traveling, according to 
family members.

Survivors include his wife, Anne G. Sisk; five children and spouses, Pam and 
Tim Arthur and Claire Massey, all of Danielsville, John Sisk, Gainesville, 
Susan and Mike Watkins, Lexington, and Gary Sisk, Crawford; two sisters, Sybil 
McCannon, Carlton, and Ruth Leadley, Lexington; brother, Gene Sisk, Lexington; 
five grandchildren, Justin Arthur, Katie Sisk, Brandon Watkins and wife, 
Tammy, Brent Watkins, and Eric Sisk; a great-granddaughter, Kelsie Watkins; 
and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday, August 7, at Moon’s Grove Baptist Church 
with the Rev. Tony Lee officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were members of the Adult IV Sunday School Class of Moon’s Grove 
Baptist Church.

Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, was in charge of arrangements.
