Danielsville Monitor, 11 Dec 1980
   Mark Joel Sorrow, 68, 103 Whitehead Circle, died Wednesday, Dec. 10.

   A native of Madison County, he was a Baptist.

   The funeral will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Tarkenton Memorial Church with the 
Rev. Donald Elliott officiating.  Burial will be in Murray Cemetery.

   Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty Joan Hudson Sorrow; four daughters, 
Mrs. Dorothy Cook, Franklin Springs, Miss Wanda and Miss Sheila Sorrow, 
Athens, and Miss Carol Sorrow, Gastonia, N. C.; five sons, Ricky and Ronnie 
Sorrow, Athens, Johny and Roger Sorrow and Glenn Marquard, Gastonia, 
N. C.; a sister, Mrs. Osie Nelms, Athens; and four graandchildren.

   Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
