 Sorrow Rites Held

    Services for Mr. Jessie Joe Sorrow were conducted last Sunday at the 
Colbert Baptist Church by the Revs. James Brock and Grady Wigley.  
Burial was in Murray Cemetery.

    Mr. Sorrow, who resided in Colbert, died at his home Friday after a three-
month illness.  He was born in Madison County and resided here most of 
his life.

    He was a retired farmer and World War II veteran.

    Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mamie Dell Morris Sorrow of Colbert; 
one step-daughter, Mrs. Edwin Mann of Danielsville; five sisters, Mrs. Dena 
Mann of comer, Mrs. Daniel Bridges of Colbert, Mrs. Annie Crumley of 
Winterville, Mrs. Joe Patton of Danielsville and Mrs. Nellie Edwards of 
Charleston, S. C; two brothers, Grover Sorrow of Athens and Ellis Sorrow 
of Colbert; and two step grandchildren.

   Nephews served as pallbearers.
