Mr. Jasper B. Strickland Laid To Rest

   Mr. Jasper B. Strickland, 78 years of age, died at his home in Collins 
District with heart trouble Wednesday, January 6th.  Mr. Strickland led a long 
and useful life and was known as a man whose Word was good.  He lived in 
Madison County all his life and had many friends and relatives who mourned his 
death.  He was tenderly laid to rest in Fellowship cemetery last Friday 
afternoon, Rev. S. S. Williams officiating.
   Besides his wife Mr. Strickland is survived by the following children, all 
of Madison County:  Mrs. Maud Wood, Mrs. Wilie B. Herrington, Mrs. Julie Hyde, 
Misses Genie and Mae Sue Strickalnd; Mr. James . Candler, George T., Obediah, 
Robert T., William W. F., Paul Edward and J. B. Strickland.
   C. N. Weatherly, funeral Director was in charge.
